Martin Francis Grogan

MSGT Retired (U.S.A.F.) Martin Francis Grogan, 69, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A native of New York, he was the son of the late Martin F. Grogan and Mary Waldron Grogan. Mr. Grogan was retired from the United States Air Force and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. He was also a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.

A mass of resurrection was held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. William Ruhl O.F.O.S. presiding. Burial with full military honors followed in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Grogan is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Harrell and husband, Jimmy, Patricia Dehaan, and Susan Grogan; his son, John Grogan; a sister, Bernice O’Neil and husband, James; a brother, Walter Grogan and wife, Lilly; grandchildren, Jason Harrell, Patricia Dehaan, Jennifer Dehaan and Steven Dehaan; and several cousins.
