Jessie Barrow Ham


Goldsboro – Mrs. Jessie Barrow Ham, 67, died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A native of Greene County, she was the daughter of the late T.R. Barrow and Emma Thomas Barrow and was married to the late Murphy Lee Ham. Mrs. Ham was a member of Free Gospel P.F.W.B. Church.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 7 p.m. at Free Gospel P.F.W.B. Church with Rev. Gerald Hollamon, Rev. Willard Hardison and Gladys Wells officiating. Interment will be Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at the Hill Family Cemetery, on Hwy. 13 North, Goldsboro.

Mrs. Ham is survived by her sisters, Ruby Daniels, Gladys Wells, Margaret Sutton, Rosetta Smith, Marie Perry, and Ann Davis, all of Goldsboro; brothers, Robert Barrow and Wade Barrow, both of Snow Hill and a foster brother, Oscar Mooring of Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends following the service Saturday at the church and other times at the home of her sister, Margaret Sutton, 264 Rodell Barrow Road, Goldsboro.
