William Grimes Harding

William "Will" Grimes Harding, 15, died Wednesday.


A native of Wayne County, he was a sophomore at Eastern Wayne High School. Will was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and the Boy Scout Troop 3 at the First Presbyterian Church.


Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Reverends Kelly Logue and Madison Hankel officiating. Burial followed in Willow Dale Cemetery.


He is survived by his mother, Tommie Anne Moore; father, Dr. Robert G. Harding; sister, Margaret Harding of the home; and his paternal grandmother, Edna C. Harding.


He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William George Harding and Mildred Steele Moore and Thomas Grimes Moore.
