Richard "Red" Hare Jr

Richard "Red" Hare, Jr., 65, died Saturday morning at his residence. A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Richard Hare, Sr. and Mattie Williams Hare.

Graveside services were held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Parker Hare; stepdaughter, Pamela Rae and a sister-in-law, Tempi Faye Hare.Clifton; stepsons, Ronnie Joe Clifton and Dallas Clifton; sisters, Dorothy McCullen, Mary Britt, Ruby Pate, Clara Lee Nord and Evelyn Fail; brothers, Charles Hare and George Hare;

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Hare and Marvin Hare; and nephew, Leon Hare.
