Abia Worrell Harrison
 Goldsboro – Mrs. Abia Worrell Harrison, 95, died Tuesday at the Brian Center.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Kirby Worrell and Pearl Turner Worrell and was married to the late John Lawson Harrison. Mrs. Harrison was a member of Watery Branch Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m.at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dann Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Harrison is survived by her sons, Wayne Harrison and wife, Shelby of Goldsboro, Marcellus Harrison and wife, Janice of Goldsboro and Talmage Harrison and wife, Barbara of Goldsboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Shelby Diane Hill and husband, Randy of Snow Hill; grandchildren, Sheila Turnage and husband, Sidney of Goldsboro, Jeff Lane of LaGrange, Steven Harrison and wife, Suzanne of Goldsboro, Beverly Freeman and husband, Jerry of Goldsboro, Allison Harrison of Goldsboro, Matthew Harrison and wife, Lynn of Snow Hill, Jonathan Harrison and wife, Renee of Goldsboro, David Hill and wife, Jennie of Goldsboro, Martin Hill and wife, Karen of Maiden, Amy Place and husband, Ed of Goldsboro and Dana Hill and wife, Andrea of Snow Hill; great-grandchildren, Ashley Turnage, Scarlett Lane, Travis Lane, Kathryn Harrison, Bryan Harrison, Harrison Freeman, Jackson Freeman, Ryan Harrison, Logan Harrison, Courtney Place, Caitlynn Place, Alexis Hill and Victoria Hill; brothers, Harold Worrell and Lawrence Worrell, both of Goldsboro; and sisters, Elizabeth Edmundson of Goldsboro, Esther Albright of Cary, Esther Mae Kearney of Goldsboro, Pearl Holloman of Kinston and Jana Bryan of Wilmington.
Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Gordon Harrison; a granddaughter, Cynthia Harrison Lane; brothers, Kirby Lee Worrell, Emmett Worrell, Waitus Worrell, Buster Worrell, Paul Worrell, Johnnie Worrell and Wilbert Worrell; and a sister, Selma Lancaster.
Grandsons of Mrs. Harrison will serve as pallbearers.
The family will greet friends at Seymour Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday and other times at the home of Marcellus and Janice Harrison, 701 E. Forest Hill Drive, Goldsboro.
