William Hopton Hinnant

Goldsboro - William Hopton Hinnant , 60, of the Elroy Community, died Sunday at Sunbridge in Mount Olive

He was a native of Wayne Co. and was the son of the late Ezra Hinnant and Bernice Anderson Hinnant. He was retired from Heavy Duty.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at New Hope Friends Cemetery with Rev. Paul Rose officiating.

Surviving is a daughter; Kim Atkins of Cary; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, William Hopton Hinnant, Jr.; his brothers, Bobby Lee Hinnant and Ronnie Hinnant of Goldsboro, and a sister Gertrude Slater of Hartville, AL.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
