Chippie Ephiam Hoggard

Goldsboro – Mr. Chippie Ephiam Hoggard, 74, of 406 Hickory Road, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Bertie County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Chippie Leon Hoggard and Maggie Parker Hoggard and was retired from the United States Air Force.

Graveside services with full military honors will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hoggard Family Cemetery in Lewiston, NC.

Mr. Hoggard is survived by his wife, Celia Coburn Hoggard; his daughters, Debbie Decker of Las Vegas, NE and Pam Kendall and husband Richard of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Courtney Garland and Peyton Garland; and a sister, Barbara Goff of Rocky Mount.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Jilcott.

Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
