Wilda G. Holloman

Goldsboro – Mrs. Wilda G. Holloman, 85, passed away
on November 3, 2003 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was a bookkeeper
many years for Kemp Furniture Company. She was a member of Saint
Luke United Methodist Church. During her retirement, she spent her
time visiting the sick and shut-in and remembering them with cards
and gifts on their birthdays. Her special joy was getting together
with the retired lady employees of Kemp and the ladies of the Pilot
Club.
Her love was her family. She spent many years taking care of her
mother and other members of the family. She was a quiet person and
her greatest joy was the times she spent with her sister, Julia
Nedroscik, brother, Borden L. Holloman, nieces and nephews. She will
always be remembered for her generosity to those she knew and the
pleasure she received in sharing with others.
She is survived by her sister, Julia H. Nedroscik; brother, Borden
L. Holloman and wife Edith with whom she made her home for 31 years.
Nieces and nephews include, Carolyn N. Oberstaedt and husband Rich;
Dianne N. Brown and husband Craig; Danny Bradley and wife Barbara;
Jerry Bradley and wife Lisa; Bobbie B. Greene and husband Ray; Marc
L. Holloman and wife Debi; and Kea H. Oboth and husband Steve and
numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Verna H. Bradley and
husband, Carl and brother-in-law, Larry Nedroscik.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at One O’clock at Wayne
Memorial Park with Rev. Earl G. Dulaney officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke United
Methodist Church, 1608 E. Pine Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at
Seymour Funeral Home. |
