Goldsboro
– Mrs. Bessie Lee Howell Ingram, 86, of the Grantham Community
died Sunday at Britthaven Nursing Home.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of
the late Charlie Howell and Bessie Lane Howell and was married to
the late Raymond Ingram. Mrs. Ingram was a member of the Eureka
Christian Church.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at
Eureka Christian Church with Rev. Frank Purvis officiating. Burial
will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Ingram is survived by her daughters, Edna
Thornton and husband, Tom, Jean Mills and husband, Roy, Dale Lewis
and husband, Allen and Gale Ingram, all of Grantham; a son, Carroll
Ingram and wife, Nancy of Grantham; eight grandchildren, thirteen
great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the
Eureka Christian Church Building Fund, 2036 Dobbersville Rd., Mount
Olive, NC 28365.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7-9
p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jean and
Roy Mills, 384 Mills Road, Goldsboro.
