Raymond Carroll Ingram

Grantham
– Raymond Carroll Ingram, 66, died on Friday at his home surrounded
by his family.
Carroll was born in Wayne County on October 15, 1941 to the late
Raymond Ingram and Bessie Lee Ingram. For thirty years, Carroll had
worked with Ertel Construction Company in Charlotte. He was a
lifetime member of Eureka Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at Eureka
Christian Church with Rev. Frank Purvis officiating. Interment will
be Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the church cemetery.
Carroll is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy Ingram; his son,
Steven Ingram and wife, Teresa of Grantham; his daughter, Tracey
Casto and husband, Kevin of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Amber
Hylton and Nichole, Shannon and Brianna Casto; and his sister, Edna
Thornton of Grantham.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters,
Jean Mills, Dale Lewis and Gale Ingram.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer
Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834 or to Eureka
Christian Church, 2036 Dobbersville Road, Mount Olive, NC 28365.
The family will receive friends Sunday following the service in the
fellowship hall of Eureka Christian Church and other times at his
home, 134 King Road, Goldsboro.
