Eleanor Jean Malpass Blackwell

Goldsboro – Mrs. Eleanor Jean Malpass Blackwell Ivey, 80, formerly of the Waynesborough House died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Wilmington, she was the daughter of the late August F. Malpass and Allie Nora Malpass and was the widow of Levy Andrew Ivey.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Ivey is survived by her son, Preston Blackwell of Goldsboro; her brother, George W. Malpass of Wallace; her sister, Annie Laura Hall of Grantham; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
