Francis Andrew Jeffery
Carthage, MO – Mr. Francis Andrew Jeffery, 85, of 1215 Olive Street,
died Saturday, November 1, 2003 at the home of his daughter in
Goldsboro, NC.
Mr. Jeffery was born in Baileyville, Kansas on November 18, 1917 to
Andrew Jackson Jeffery and Charlotte Landreth Jeffery. Mr. Jeffery
was married to the late Blanche Underwood Jeffery and was retired
from Hercules Powder Company. He was a member of the Lions Club of
Carthage, MO.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 8, 2003 at Ulmer
Funeral Home Chapel in Carthage, MO with burial following at the
Fasken Cemetery.
Mr. Jeffery is survived by his daughters, Judy J. Hallow and husband
George J. Hallow of Goldsboro and Sharon J. Stanley and husband Bill
Stanley of Orange, TX; his grandchildren, Willis A. Stanley III of
Washington, DC, Jeff Stanley and wife Terri of Belgrade, MT, Sheryl
A. Hallow of Charlotte, NC and Jeff Hallow and wife Charlotte of
Goldsboro, NC; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan A. Stanley and
Ian A. Stanley.
Memorials may be made to the Goldsboro Host Lions Club, 1300 Wayne
Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534 or to the Carthage Lions Club,
Carthage, MO 64836.
Members of the Carthage Lions Club will serve as pallbearers.
Local arrangements were with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation
