Annie Forehand Johnson

Goldsboro – Mrs. Annie “Jane” Forehand Johnson, 76, of 1812 Palm Street, died Sunday at her home.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late David A. Forehand and Ila Creech Forehand and was the widow of the late Gordon Lee Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a retired bookkeeper and had worked for Bell-Stewart, Jernigan Furniture and Maxwell Furniture.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Roy Savage officiating.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her sons, David Lee Johnson and wife, Grace of Clayton and Larry Johnson and wife, Tina of Lumberton; her sisters, Mandy Creech of Goldsboro, Ruby F. Braswell and husband, Ralph of Goldsboro, Ruth F. Fisher of New Bern and Hazel F. Albert of Goldsboro; her brother, James “Buddy” Forehand and wife, Sally of Goldsboro; her brother-in-law, Gilbert Baker of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris F. Baker and an infant son, Donald Johnson.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home.
