Arthur E. Jones

Goldsboro – Mr. Arthur E. Jones, died on Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A native of Ridgefield, NJ, he was the son of the late Harold E. Jones and Gwendolyn Jones and was retired from the United States Government Printing Office. Mr. Jones was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. While residing in Florida, he was a member of the Daytona Beach Power Squadron, the Daytona Beach Boat Club and the Ormond Beach Camera Club.

A prayer service will be held on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. for the family and they will receive friends following the service at Seymour Funeral Home from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. 

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Janice D. Jones; his children, Wayne A. Jones and wife June of Staford, VA, Sharon A. Forbes and husband Thomas Forbes III of Scottsdale, AZ and her children, Thomas Forbes IV and Sean Forbes, and Drew T. Jones and wife, Dr. Brooke Bundy Jones of Goldsboro; and a sister, Eleanor Burzenski of Ridgefield, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
