Jeannie Jernigan Jones

Four Oaks - Mrs. Jeannie Jernigan Jones, 37, of 2729 Selah Church Road, died Sunday at North Carolina Memorial Hospital at Chapel Hill.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of Marie McCullen Jernigan of Newton Grove and the late James M. Jernigan. Mrs. Jones was an anesthesiologist technician at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be Monday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Sandy officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Newton Grove.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Lynwood Earl Jones; her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Jones; her sisters, Doris J. Blackman of Newton Grove, Rose J. McLamb of Newton Grove and Debbie Edwards of Four Oaks; and her brother, Shelton Thompson of Clinton.

The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of Lynn and Julia Jones, 2695 Selah Church Road, Four Oaks.
