Minnie Woodard Jordan

Goldsboro – Mrs. Minnie Woodard Jordan, 88, died Wednesday at Westchester Manor in High Point.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Hillary Melvin Woodard and Emma Delissa Hooks Woodard and was the widow of Harvey Jordan. Mrs. Jordan had worked as a licensed practical nurse before retiring. She was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Forest United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Crane officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Jordan is survived by her son, Edward Hooks Jordan of Goldsboro; her daughter, Rebecca Jordan Saunders of Trinity; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death this week by her son, Harvey Leland Jordan.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
