Donna Davis Kennedy

Goldsboro – Mrs. Donna Davis Kennedy, 61, of 1007 Guilford St., died Monday at her residence.

A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of Roney L. Davis of Goldsboro and the late Bertha Bailey Davis. Donna was retired director with the American Red Cross and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to her father she is survived by her husband, Bobby Gene Kennedy; a son, Christopher Bobby Kennedy and wife Katie of Raleigh; a granddaughter, Emma Caroline Kennedy; brothers, Wiley J. Davis and wife Brenda of Elm City and Roney L. Davis II and wife Connie of New Bern; sister, LuAnne Scott of Mt. Olive; mother-in-law, Lanie C. Kennedy of Goldsboro; sister-in-law, Connie L. Kennedy of Goldsboro; special friends, Christine Mitchell and Pattie Wester.

Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her father-in-law Silas C. Kennedy.

The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home and will be at the residence at other times.
