William David Kimley


William David Kimley, Sr., 67, died Thursday morning at his home.

A native of Camden, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Agustus Kimley and Marie Stone Kimley. Mr. Kimley was a retired sheriff officer in Camden County, NJ and helped build the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk. He was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.

A Mass of Resurrection was held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church with the Reverend Tom Norris, O.S.F.S. presiding. Burial followed in Pikeville Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel Livingston Kimley; daughters, Rita Belvrdere Smith and husband, Robert, and Ethel Roberts; son, William D. Kimley, Jr. and wife, Judy; brothers, Lawrence Kimley and Agustus Kimley, Jr. and wife, Elaine; sisters, Mary Alexander, Martha Smith and Patricia Tighe; sister-in-law, Joan Schoelkopft and husband, Richard; and grandchildren, Pamela Gerkey and husband, Joseph, Kimberly Belverdere, Tara Belvrdere, Jennifer Roberts, Judy Clark and their father, Albert Belvrdere, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Katheryne Gerkey, Patrick William Gerkey and Bryanna Belvrdere; and godchildren, Thomas Grey and wife, Nancy, Jacqueline Grey, John Grey, Alyssa Thomas Grey.
