William John King

Goldsboro – MSGT (Retired) U.S.A.F. William John King, 60, of 135 Perry Drive, died Monday at Wilson Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Sandhills Veterans Cemetery in Fayetteville, NC.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Schmidt King; daughters, Bridget K. Hathaway of Rocky Mount and her husband, Timothy M. Hathaway and Monica J. King of Wilson and Katrina King-Rose and son-in-law, Steven J. Rose of Winston-Salem; Wayne M. King and wife, Michelle H. King of Fuquay-Varina; a grandchildren, Nicholas A. King, Kathryn L. King, Alex Rose and Rachel Rose.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel McClean.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Carolina Division of Services for the Blind % John Deluca, Director, 2601 Mail Service Center, 309 Ashe Ave., Raleigh, NC 27699-2601.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at residence.
