Louise Dickerson Knight

Goldsboro – Mrs. Louise Dickerson Knight, 84, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A native of Darlington, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Robert T. Dickerson and Emma Brooks Dickerson and the widow of John B. Knight. Mrs. Knight was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. She was a Past Mother Advisor of the Wayne Assembly #46 Order of the Rainbow for Girls and Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Goldsboro Chapter # 54. She also had attended Wayne Community College and was a graduate of the Durham Beauty Academy. Mrs. Knight was a retired hairdresser in the Goldsboro Commmunity.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Dulaney officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

She is survived by a sister, Sarah D. Parnell of Sumter, South Carolina.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 PM at Seymour Funeral Home.
