Floyd A. Kruest

Goldsboro – Mr. Floyd A. Kruest, 88, formerly of Center Twp., PA, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

He was born in Baden, PA and was the son of the late George F. and Eleanor Patton Kruest. He was a retired steelworker for the former Teledyne Vasco in Monaca, a member of the Center Twp. Volunteer Fire Department #3 and a member of the Beaver Assembly of God.

Mr. Kruest was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Lashbaugh Kruest on May 7, 2000, a daughter, Eleanor Hildebrand, a sister, Susan Elder Rudolph and two brothers, George F. Kruest, Jr. and Alexander Kruest.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Christine Kruest of Uniontown, PA and Harry and Kathy Kruest of Vanderbilt, PA; two daughters and son-in-law, Vivian Vermillion of Goldsboro, NC and Susan and Dean Dollery of Sherman, TX; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three brothers, William Kruest of Monaca, PA, Samuel Kruest of Atwater, CA and Allen Kruest of Las Vegas, NV and a sister, Anna McDonald Kovack of Freedom, PA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 25, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Huntsman Rochester Funeral Home with Rev. Timothy Michaux officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom, PA.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12-4 p.m. in the Huntsman Rochester Funeral Home, 502 Adams St., Rochester, PA.
