Patsy M. Howell Lancaster

Pikeville – Patsy M. Howell Lancaster, 89, of 5760 Wayne Memorial Drive, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late James and Annie Vinson Howell and was married to the late Norman Wesley Lancaster. Mrs. Lancaster was a member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Grady officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Lancaster Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Lancaster is survived by her daughters, Peggy L. Gurley and husband, John William Gurley and Ann Evans and husband, Bobby all of Pikeville and Priscilla Head and husband, Delmas of Kinston; son, Chris Lancaster and wife, Linda of Pikeville; grandson, Johnny Gurley; granddaughters, Donna Mozingo, Ronda Mangold, Deborah Moody, Terry Radford, Christy Kirkpatrick, Teresa Walker and Sandra Hooker; 12 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her children, Marlene Mae Lancaster and N.W. Lancaster.

The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John William Gurley, 5780 William Drive, Goldsboro.
