John Claude Lane

Goldsboro – John Claude Lane, 73, died Tuesday at his residence.

A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Claude F. Lane and Lula Grant Lane. Mr. Lane retired from the Stackhouse Corporation with 30 years of service.

Interment will be held Thursday in the Pikeville Cemetery. The family will gather at Seymour Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. to greet family and friends. They will receive friends at other times at the residence.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley M. Lane; daughter, Bonnie Price and husband Ed of Pikeville; son, Jimmy Lane and wife Teresa of Hood Swamp; sister, Luvenia Gurley of Goldsboro; half brother, Roy Rogers of Goldsboro; and grandchildren, Melissa Lane and Adam Lane.
