Marie Watkins Langley

Marie Watkins Langley, 63, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Watkins and Stella Worley Watkins. Mrs. Langley was a member of El Bethel Assembly.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. at El Bethel Assembly with Rev. Steve Holder and Rev. C.R. Holder officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Langley is survived by her husband, Johnny Langley; a daughter, Rose Weeks and husband, Chris; a son, Wes Taylor; grandchildren, Brian Weeks and Daniel Weeks; and a sister, Hazel Massengill.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Sadie Massengill and Melissa Fussell; and her brothers, Rudolph Watkins, Junior Watkins, Vernon Watkins and Bobby Watkins.
