Elizabeth Davis Langston

Goldsboro – Mrs. Elizabeth Davis Langston, 82, died Monday at Britthaven Nursing Home.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Louis Bryant Davis and Lizzie Holt Davis and was the widow of John Langston.

Funeral services will be held at the Mausoleum Chapel of Wayne Memorial Park on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

Mrs. Langston is survived by her son, James Allen Kerr, Sr. of Fawn Grove, PA; her brothers,, Rudolph Davis of Jasper, TX, Durant Davis of Richmond, VA, Charles Linwood Davis of Triangle, VA, Lafayette Davis of Goldsboro, Jimmy Davis of Dudley, Charles Davis of Rhode Island, and George Davis of Goldsboro; her sisters, Leanoa D. Langston of Pikeville, Geraldine Moore of Princeton, and Linda Hardy of Goldsboro. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Guy Petaway.

The family will greet friends following the service in the Mausoleum Chapel at Wayne Memorial Park.
