Maude Moye Langston

Goldsboro – Mrs. Maude Moye Langston, 92, died Tuesday morning at the Brian Center.

A native of Lenoir County, she was the daughter of the late Ben Moye and Lou Sutton Moye and was married to the late Otis Langston. Mrs. Langston was a member of Clingman Street Church of God.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sherrill Isbell officiating. Interment will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange.

Mrs. Langston is survived by her daughters, Geraldine Daniels and husband, Jim of Goldsboro, Peggy Denner of Pensacola, FL and Lynda Isbell and husband, Sherrill of Pensacola, FL; a son, Spencer Langston and wife, Linda of Grantham; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. 

She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Langston; her brothers, Harvey Moye, Clyde Moye, Raymond Moye, Willie Moye and Bennie Moye; and her sisters, Sallie Vinson and Myrtie Dawson.

The family will receive friends following the service Thursday at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Geraldine and Jim Daniels, 175 Sheridan Forest Road, Goldsboro.
