Anna Nelson Langston

Goldsboro – Mrs. Anna “Norine” Nelson Langston, 78, died Friday at the Brian Center.

A native of Brigham City, Utah, Mrs. Langston was the daughter of the late Norman Andrew Nelson and Britta Jeppesen Nelson and was the widow of Ivey Langston, Jr. Mrs. Langston was a home-maker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Robert Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Stantonsburg Cemetery.

Mrs. Langston is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Scarboro of Pikeville and Michelle Connerton of Goldsboro; her sons, Dennis Langston of Stantonsburg and Daryl Langston of Pikeville; her brothers, Dale Norman Nelson of Brigham City, Utah and Steven Orell Nelson of Brigham City, Utah; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Michelle Connerton, 1311 E. Beech Street, Goldsboro.
