Gladys Reeves Little

Goldsboro – Mrs. Gladys Inez Reeves Little died Thursday morning at
Britthaven Nursing Home. She was a former resident of Kirkwood
Retirement Village.
Mrs. Little was born in Wayne County to the late John Henry Reeves
and Ciddy Estelle Lane Reeves and was the widow of Jimmy Gaston
Little. She was retired from R.G. Barry and was a member of Oak
Heights Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Robert Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow at
Willow Dale Cemetery.
Mrs. Little is survived by her son, Billy Ray Little of Goldsboro;
her daughters, Emily Davis and husband, Gordon of Eureka, Peggy
Newsome and husband, Melvin of Bassett, VA, Diane Syverson and
husband, LaVern of Goldsboro and Sandra Barbour and husband, Ricky
of Goldsboro; her sister, Marie Whitley of Wilson; her
brother-in-law, Sam Register of Goldsboro; fifteen grandchildren and
twenty-four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Earl Little; her
daughter-in-law, Lois Jones Little; her grandson, Harold Newsome;
and great-grandchildren, Tyler Cameron Davis and Jonathan Sibbett;
and her granddaughter-in-law, Melanie Syverson.
The family will receive friends Saturday at Seymour Funeral Home
from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and other times at the home of her daughter,
Diane Syverson, 106 Camille Drive (Holland Hills), Goldsboro, NC.
