Hubert H. Martin

Goldsboro – Mr. Hubert H. Martin, 75, died Friday evening at Britthaven Nursing Home.

A native of Duplin County, he was the son of the late Jesse J. Martin and Julia Millard Martin. Mr. Martin was a retired carpenter.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Berry House officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Carrie Hughes Martin, a daughter, Judy Thompson of Goldsboro; sons, Robert H. Martin Sr. and his wife, Carol of Pierron, Ill., Alton Martin and his wife, June of Goldsboro and Danny Ray Martin of South Korea and his wife, Karen of Kannopolis; brothers, Milford H. Martin of Zebulon and Jesse D. Martin of Goldsboro; sister, Margaret Gillespie of Wilmington, DE; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Alton and June Martin, 339 Combs Road, Goldsboro.
