Mildred Frances Mason

Raleigh – Ms. Mildred Frances Mason, 81, formerly of Goldsboro died Saturday at City of Oaks Nursing Home in Raleigh.

A native of Craven County, she was the daughter of the late John George Mason and Alice Piner Mason. Ms. Mason was a registered nurse and had retired from Wayne Memorial Hospital as the house supervisor. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, the AARP and the American Nurses Association.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, July 12, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Dulaney officiating.

Ms. Mason is survived by several nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideons International, Goldsboro North Camp, P.O. Box 10093, Goldsboro, NC 27532.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Seymour Funeral Home.
