Billy Lewis May
 Goldsboro - Mr. Billy Lewis May, 67, of 702 N. Spence Avenue, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Shenandoah, Virginia, he was the son of the late James Earl and Lorine Turner May. He retired as a CID agent in the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam and Korean conflicts. Mr. May was in the 101 ST Airborne Division and was a Deputy Sheriff in Wythe County, Virginia and a police officer in Front Royal, Virginia. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans.
Funeral Services be held Tuesday at 11 AM at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Stephen Bird, Capt. CHC-USNR officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Fayetteville, N.C.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Ramey May; his daughter, Teresa Ann May and his son William Earl May; brother, Edward C. May; grandchildren, Sarah Marie Coley, Mark Tanner May and William Travis May; three nieces and three nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, James William May and Bobby Lee May.
