Marion Buchanan McClenny

Goldsboro – Mrs. Marion Buchanan McClenny, 86, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Person County, Mrs. McClenny was the daughter of the late Robert Jones Buchanan and Pearlie Whitt Buchanan and was the widow of Mickey McClenny. She was a member of Goldsboro Friends Meeting and was an avid Bridge player.

Graveside services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Bob Bame officiating.

Mrs. McClenny is survived by her daughter, Carol M. Ray and husband, Jerry of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Melanie Daniels and husband, John of Goldsboro and Gerald Ray Jr. of Goldsboro.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Jones Buchanan, Jr.

Memorials may be made to the St. Paul United Methodist Church Senior Companion Fund, 204 E. Chestnut Street, Goldsboro, NC 27534.

The family will receive friends at the home of Carol and Jerry Ray, 425 Village Drive (Walnut Creek), Goldsboro, NC.
