Jennifer Scharpeger McGlone

Goldsboro – Mrs. Jennifer Scharpeger McGlone, 31, of 103 Broad Oak Place, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Suffolk County, New York, she was the daughter of John Scharpeger and Martha Harris Scharpeger of Patchogue, NY. Mrs. McGlone was a graduate of Plattsburgh State University in New York and was the Business Manager with Nova Incorporated in Kinston.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Russ officiating.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, James McGlone; a son, Evan McGlone of the home; and her sister, Beth Ann Van Cott of Port Washington, NY.

Memorials may be made to the Jennifer S. McGlone Scholarship Fund, in care of Patchogue Medford Schools, 241 South Ocean Ave., Patchogue, NY 11772.

The family will receive friends Wednesday immediately following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
