Lorri Sloan Miller

Goldsboro – Mrs. Lorri Sloan Miller, 49, of 110 Ironwood Road, died Wednesday at her home.

A native of Wayne County, she is the daughter of Keith Sloan, Jr. and the late Esther Lovette Sloan and the widow of Alan Kent Miller. Mrs. Miller worked at Wayne Memorial Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over twelve years.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 3:30 PM at Wayne Memorial Park with Pastor Ralph Painter officiating.

In addition to her father, she is survived by son, Samuel Ashington Miller of Goldsboro; a daughter, Heather Miller Macanas and husband, Mac of Goldsboro; a sister, Judy Galey and husband, Ed, and their family of Morganton, NC; and four grandchildren, Michael Macanas, Ciara Macanas, Alexis Macanas and Jacob Macanas.

She was preceded death by a brother, Joel Kim Sloan.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc.
