Goldsboro - A. Malcolm Mitchell, 93, of 910 ½ E. Mulberry Street, died Monday at his home.

A native of Johnston County, he was the son of the late John Henry Mitchell and Augusta Sasser Mitchell.  Mr. Mitchell served his country in the United States Army and was retired from Mitchell's Café.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Rose Hicks officiating.

Mr. Mitchell was the last surviving member of his family.  He was preceded in death by his siblings, Edward Mitchell, Forrest Mitchell, Flossie M. Harvley, Cassie M. Flowers, Caroline M. Spivey, Elnora M. Crumpler, Katie
Mitchell, Woodrow Mitchell, Ida M. Flowers, Nancy M. Watson, Gencie M. Kirby and Aaron Mitchell.

Visitation will be held Wednesday at Seymour Funeral Home from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
