Annie Rose Coor Mitchell, 64, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edmund Coor and Annie Bell Rose Coor and was married to the late Robert Brinson Mitchell, Sr. Mrs. Mitchell was a retired school teacher and served at the Nahunta School and Northwest Elementary School. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rose Hicks officiating. Graveside services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by two sons, Robert Brinson "Brent" Mitchell, Jr. and wife, Cheryl and Steven Todd Mitchell and wife, Sandra; a daughter, Danette Brantham Najera and husband, Francisco; grandchildren, Clint Brantham, Stephanie Brantham, Melanie Brantham, Tarrah Mitchell, Brinson Mitchell, Bryce Mitchell and Alexis Mitchell; sisters, Katheryn Coor Lewis and Elizabeth "Lib" Morris; and a brother, Harry Coor.
