Mable Irene Evans Mitchell

Goldsboro – Mrs. Mable Irene Evans Mitchell, 88, a resident of Sunbridge Rehabilitation and Care of Mount Olive, died Sunday, July 14, 2002, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Tommy Evans and Nancy Darden Evans and was married to the late Harvey Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell had worked with Borden Manufacturing.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Daly’s Chapel Church Cemetery, LaGrange. Rev. Bill Rose will officiate.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home on Monday, July 15, 2002, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and other times at her residence, 506 Third Street, Goldsboro.
