Charles Edgar Neal, Jr.

Goldsboro – Mr. Charles Edgar Neal, Jr., 57, of 684 NC 581 South, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Wayne County, he was the son of Mae Lupton Neal and the late Charles Edgar Neal, Sr. Mr. Neal was retired from the United States Air Force and was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Forest United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Billy Olsen officiating.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Lisa Beth Abalos of Midlothian, TX, Mary Haner of Grand Rapids, MI and Irene Hutton of Kings Tree, SC; his sons, David Sean Neal of Arizona and Tommy Neal of Kings Tree, SC; his sisters, Gloria Braswell and her husband, Rick of Goldsboro and Donna Davis and her husband, Tim of Goldsboro; and one grandchild, Hunnar Wyatt Abalos.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
