Thomas Clark Nicholson Sr.

Goldsboro – Mr. Thomas Clark Nicholson, Sr., 83, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Bellaire, OH, he was the son of the late Ralph D. Nicholson and Mary Etta Wells Nicholson and was married to the late Marjorie Marie Horrall Nicholson. Mr. Nicholson was a retired industrial engineer and had served in the United States Army Air Force. He had a great joy for stamp collecting and a great interest in the Civil War facts. Mr. Nicholson was a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels for WAGES in Goldsboro.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Pat Houston officiating.

Mr. Nicholson is survived by his son, Thomas C. Nicholson, Jr. and wife, Marty of Goldsboro; a daughter, Pamela Gregor and husband, Philip of Warren, OH; three grandchildren, Stephanie Wagner, Matthew Nicholson and Sarah Nicholson; two great-grandchildren, Hannah Wagner and Emma Wagner; a brother, Ralph Nicholson of Mt. Vernon, OH and a sister, Esther DeCarlo of Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Ellison of Middletown, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Meals on Wheels at Wages, P.O. Box 1638, Goldsboro, NC 27534.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
