Clevie Elmo Norman

Mr. Clevie Elmo Norman, Sr., 83, a lifetime resident of Fremont,
died Saturday. A native of Craven County, he was the son of the late
Joseph Cornelius and Sarah Ellen Caton Norman. Mr. Norman was
employed with Fremont Ford for 38 years as parts and service
manager. He was a Army Veteran of WW II, and was a member of Home
Lodge # 613, Fremont, N. C.
Funeral service will be at 5 P. M. Sunday at Seymour Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Gary Bailey and Rev. Richard Glosson officiating.
Graveside services with masonic rites will be at 11 A. M. Monday at
Elmwood Cemetery, Fremont.
Surviving: wife, Lula Elizabeth Ballenger Norman; children, Jean
Lamm of Wilson, Gloria Ralbovsky and husband Jerry of San Antonio,
Tx., Debbie Gray and husband Steve of Fremont, Clevie Norman, Jr.
and wife Teresa of Sumter, S. C.; brothers, Murray Norman and wife
Betty of Portsmouth, Va., Noah Norman and wife Ramona of Greenville,
N. C., Milan Norman and wife Jean, Larry Norman and wife Myrtle, and
Vernon Norman and wife Delores all of Ernul, N. C., and Robert
Norman and wife Annette of Jacksonville, Florida; ten grandchildren,
eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Mr. Norman was preceded in death, in addition to his parents by a
brother and his wife, Gaston and Ethel Norman and a sister and her
husband, Letha Mae and George Crawford.
The family will receive friends following the funeral until 7 P.M.
