George Malcolm O'Melia

Goldsboro – Mr. George Malcolm O’Melia, 52, of 115 Brookshire Drive, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Mr. O’Melia was born in Japan to the late Malcolm Benedict O’Melia and Audrey Lois Peck O’Melia. He was a member of the American Legion and was retired from the United States Navy.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with full military honors. 

He is survived by his wife, Frances Hargrove O’Melia; four daughters, Shannon O’Melia of Goldsboro, Charmaine Rolfe and husband, Clyde of Panama City, Florida, Lashana O’Melia and fiancée, Earl Braddy, and Leilani Holley and husband, Tim, all of Goldsboro; a brother, Bobby O’Melia of Freehold, New Jersey; a sister, Leilani Kramer of Spring Lake, New Jersey; and three grandchildren, Shay Rolfe, Skylar Rolfe and Stephanie Holley.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 6:00 PM at Seymour Funeral Home.
