Hazel Lynch Thompson Parker
Goldsboro – Hazel Lynch Thompson Parker, 91, went to be with her
Lord on Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Hazel was born in Wayne County on October 20, 1916 to the late John
L. Lynch and Lena Walter Lynch. She was married to the late Bernice
E. Parker. Hazel was a member of the Salvation Army Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of
Seymour Funeral Home with Major Andrew Wiley officiating. Burial
will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Hazel is survived by her sons, James Kenneth Thompson of Petaluma,
CA and Wayne Douglas Thompson of Kenly; her sisters, Dorothy Hussey
of Kinston, Virginia Cunningham of Grifton and Alice Thompson of
Burlington; her brothers, Carroll Lynch of Goldsboro and Eugene
Lynch of Suffolk, VA; and her granddaughter, Joanne Thompson.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at
Seymour Funeral Home.
