Frank Ervin Pate

Mr. Frank Ervin “Peanut” Pate, 81, of 3031 U.S. 117 North, died Saturday, September 25, 2004 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Bryant Frank and Flora Seymour Pate and the widower of Eunice Thomas Pate. Mr. Pate was retired from Wayne Wholesale Grocery. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be 11 A. M. Monday, September 27, 2004 at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Neal Wingfield officiating.

Surviving: daughters, Susan P. Cox and husband Jack of Morehead City and Jean P. Stephenson of Morehead City; son, William F. “Bill” Pate and wife Merchele of Hillsborough; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brother, Cedric Pate of Columbus, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Salem United Methodist Church Building Fund; 2706 Salem Church Road, Goldsboro, N. C. 27530

The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6 P. M. until 8 P. M. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at his residence.
