Marjorie Rose Patrick

Goldsboro – Mrs. Marjorie Rose Patrick, 69, died on Tuesday, May 14, 2002.

A native of Goldsboro, she is survived by her husband of 47 years, Sam Patrick, two daughters, Molly Patrick Kelley and husband, Randy of Kinston, and Terry Patrick Walton and husband, Lon of Jacksonville, FL, five grandchildren, Ryan Kelley and Cross Kelley of Kinston, and Neale, Ali, and Ann Maris Walton of Jacksonville, Fla., and two brothers, Conway Joel Rose and David Jennings (D.J.) Rose, Jr. of Goldsboro.

She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Charles Patrick, Jr. and her parents, Dr. and Mrs. David Jennings Rose.

A creative and artistic person, Marjie utilized her talents in many ways. She was accomplished at needlework, pottery, baking and watercolors. An avid master gardener, her love of gardens, plants and flowers brought joy to many and her inspiring paintings will be cherished for years to come.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery.
