Bobby Eugene Pelt

Goldsboro – Mr. Bobby Eugene Pelt, 54, 1005 Eleventh Street, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Wayne County, Mr. Pelt was the son of Ellen Smith Pelt of Goldsboro and the late Johnnie Pelt. He owned and operated a salvage company in Goldsboro and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with military honors.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Rachel Kearney Pelt; his son, Bobby Eugene Pelt, Jr.; his daughter, Laura Rachel Pelt of the home; his grandchildren, Stephanie Pelt, Katherine Pelt and Ashley Pelt; his brother, Johnnie Ray Pelt of Pikeville; and his sister, Emma Talmage of New Bern.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
