- Mrs. Jacquelyn “Jackie” Muse Pendergraft, 43, of 202 Serenity
Drive, Goldsboro, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. A native
of Wilson County, she was the daughter of Barbara Hill-Ballard of
Goldsboro. She was employed with Cooper-Standard of Goldsboro.
Jackie was a volunteer with Relay For Life of Wayne County, she
attended United In Christ Church, and was a graduate of Eastern
Wayne High School.
Funeral services will be 2 P. M. Tuesday at Seymour Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Ira Williford officiating. Entombment will follow
at Wayne Memorial Park.
Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband, Mark Pendergraft;
daughter, Krystal Pendergraft of the home; her sugar daddy, Gem
Ballard of Goldsboro; sisters, Lou Jean Bryant and husband Mark of
Spring Hope, Janet Robinson and husband David of Spring Hope, Jean
Babson and husband Benny of Clayton; brothers, Tracy Muse and wife
Sandy of Goldsboro and James Ballard and wife Vanessa of
Madison,Tenn., # 2 mom Peggy Pendergraft of Goldsboro; # 3 mom,
Norma Muse of Bailey; maternal grandmother, Mary Lee Keen of Wilson;
grandmother, Evelyn Pendergraft of Goldsboro; numerous aunts and
uncles, a niece, a host of cousins, and her poodle Baby Jingles.
She was preceded in death by her fathers McGee Hill and John Muse,
father-in-law Terry Pendergraft, and maternal grandparents Herbert
and Virginia Parnell.
Flowers are welcome though memorials be made to American Cancer
Society, 930-B Wellness Dr., Greenville, N. C. 27834.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7-9 P. M. at Seymour
Funeral Home and at other times at the residence of her mother at
101 E. April Lane, Goldsboro.
