Florence Adcock Phillips

Florence Adcock Phillips, 76, died Tuesday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

A native of Suffolk, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late J.G. Adock and Grace Turner Adcock. She was a graduate of Goldsboro High School. Mrs. Phillips was an avid bowler. She was a retired civil service employee at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

Graveside services were held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Lupton; nieces, Cawanua A. Keeling, Stacy Eason and Lorita Sheldon; nephew, Archie Evans; and a number of grandnieces and nephews; great-grandnieces and nephews.
