William Junior Pittman
 Goldsboro - William “Bill” Junior Pittman, 68, of 413 Tommy’s Road, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Wilson County, he was the son of the late Jesse William and Alberta Raper Pittman. Mr. Pittman spent his working life employed with Codgell Cycle Center. During his retirement, he worked with Suburban Tractor Company. He faithfully attended Belfast Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Herring and Rev. Steve Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Lee Gurley Pittman; daughters, Janet Lee Quinn of Goldsboro and Judy Lynn Riley and husband, George of Willow Springs; sons, Jerry Pittman and wife, Kay, and James H. “Jimmy” Pittman and wife, Eva all of Goldsboro; a brother, Kenneth “Pete” Pittman and wife Marilyn of Ottawa, Ohio; a sister, Marjorie Marie Best and husband, Herman “Tony” of Pikeville; and his grandchildren, Kevin Carroll, Jr., Jessica Pittman, David Carroll, Leslie Ann Quinn, William Pittman, Clayton Quinn, Patrice Pittman, Jimmy Pittman, Jr., Jessica Wiggins, Melissa Anderson, Jason Riley, Matthew Anderson and Shawn Planty; and two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Zachary Wiggins.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 until 8 P.M. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the residence.
