Alice Wiggins Raynor

Goldsboro – Mrs. Alice Wiggins Raynor, 72, died today at Kitty
Askins Hospice Center.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Walter
Daniel Wiggins and Effie Strickland Wiggins. Mrs. Raynor was a
retired teacher assistant with the Goldsboro City School System and
was a member of Oak Heights Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Oak Heights
Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 2303 O’berry Center Road,
Goldsboro. Rev. Horace Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in
Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Raynor is survived by her husband, Robey George Raynor of
Goldsboro; two sons, Gregory Leon Raynor of Goldsboro and George
Michael Raynor of McLeansville; step-son, Roger Raynor of
Wilmington; sisters, Dorothy Mozingo of Goldsboro, Lora Jones of New
Bern and Carrie Walker of Goldsboro; a brother, Walter Wiggins, Jr.
of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Heights Pentecostal
Free Will Baptist Church, 2303 O’Berry Center Road, Goldsboro, NC
27530.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Seymour
Funeral Home and other times at her residence.
