Myrtle Pittman Goodman Raynor

Mrs.
Myrtle Pittman Goodman Raynor,76, of 103 S. Washington St. died
Monday. A native of Wayne County she was the daughter of the late
Claude and Annie Sauls Pittman and the widow of Lloyd E. Goodman and
Erbie Raynor. She was also preceded in death by her stepmother,
Gertie Hawley Pittman; sister, Evelyn Barnes, and brother William
Claude Pittman, Jr. Mrs. Raynor was retired from Belk’s and was a
member of the Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church and the
ladies auxiliary of the church.
Funeral services will be 7 PM Tuesday night at the Pikeville
Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with Dr. Don Sauls officiating.
Internment will be 11 A. M. Wednesday in Evergreen Memorial
Cemetery.
Surviving: daughter, Brenda Dail of Pikeville; son, Jerry Goodman
and wife Judy of Goldsboro; step-daughter, Annette Richards and
husband Bruce of Wilmington; step-sons, Donald Raynor and wife
Kathrine of Raleigh, Bobby Raynor of Burgaw, and Ellis Raynor of
Pikeville; sisters, Pete Bedford and husband Guy of Goldsboro and
Gladys Hinnant of Goldsboro; sister-in-law, Maude Pittman of
Pikeville; brother, Donnie Pittman and wife Patricia of Williamston;
grandchildren, Kristie Howell and husband Stewart, Ginger Waller and
husband Keith, Brandy Garris and husband Scott, Heather Stout and
husband Tony, Adrian Richards, Renee Gooch and husband Darryl, Allen
Raynor, Nick Raynor, Michael Howard, Brian Raynor, and Sherry Raynor;
four great-grandchildren.
Flowers are welcomed or memorials may be made to Pikeville
Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 910,
Pikeville, N. C. 27863.
The family will receive friends following the service and at other
times will be at the residence of Brenda Dail, 975 Nahunta Rd.
